Storm Window Panels are sheets of acrylic that attach to the inside of your primary window. They help seal out drafts, reduce condensation, create an insulating air gap, and minimize street noise—delivering noticeable comfort and energy savings.
Each panel uses Velcro, Double-sided Tape, or screw along the edges of the acrylic sheet. These auxiliary materials cling to vinyl-coated steel strips installed around the window frame. The steel strips can be mounted either on the molding (the decorative frame around the opening) or on cleats fixed inside the jambs.
Storm Window Panels are quick to assemble—typically under 40 minutes—and can be installed or removed seasonally in seconds. All materials are designed for sun exposure, and adhesives are pressure-sensitive and acrylic-based for durability and long life.
Assembly is straightforward once you have chosen the mounting location and cut the acrylic sheet to size. No mitered corners are required.
