Stainless steel Facades
Steel Composite Panels serve as an alternative to Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM) when a flat surface for magnetic media is required. These panels feature a polyethylene core with galvanized steel facers on both sides. They are offered with a digitally printable matte white coating on one side and a dry erase white coating on the other. The core must be devoid of any voids or air spaces and should not include foamed insulation materials. The connection between the core and the skins must be a chemical bond.
This composite product structure maintains the characteristics of solid stainless steel while reducing production costs and significantly enhancing panel strength and flatness. It consists of two stainless steel face sheets on both the front and back sides, bonded to an aluminum honeycomb core. This design preserves the inherent properties of stainless steel panels while reducing their weight and increasing overall panel strength. It effectively resolves the “oil canning” problem associated with solid stainless steel panels, resulting in a flat and smooth wall surface.
Due to its ferromagnetic properties, along with exceptional stiffness and surface hardness, as well as minimal thermal expansion, steel composite panels are viable for numerous applications.
This versatile product finds applications in various settings, including trailer walls, conference room whiteboards, restaurant menus, and more.
